So after months of searching I finally managed to find a van in the right spec and colour. I’ve just picked up a lovely 150 highline T6 kombi and the plan is a very slow camper conversion.

Spec wise I’m pretty happy being twin captain seats and a comfort dash from the factory so it’s just getting the jiggles any new car brings sorted at the moment.

So far I’ve just been sorting a few niggles, fitted some properly load rated tyres and a new battery as well as taking delivery of some eibach lowering springs and dummy rear windows from camperglass.

Conversion wise I’m still in the painful decision making stage but leaning towards getting it booked in for a van max pop top to kick things off while I decide on electrics etc. any help or advise along the way would be great fully recieved .

Well I finally got round to sorting some more bits on the van, the spares were starting to mount up.

so today I fitted some 60mm eibach lowering springs, new front shocks and rear discs and pads.

I think the van sits way better now and it drives well, I just can’t decide if I need to ditch the side bars.

Next on the list are some dummy rear windows and then i need to start sound deadening and insulation on the old girl.
